JUST

 

In 2005, toonspeak presented JUST - a brand new tragic-comedy by Ali Smith.  As part of Shell Connections, JUST was performed at both the Citizen’s theatre, Glasgow in March and the Lyceum Theatre, Edinburgh in June.

  

Written by award winning author Ali Smith, whose titles include Free Love and Other Stories, Like and Hotel World, JUST explores themes of community and justice in Blair’s Britain: a place where human rights are neatly swept under the carpet when suspicious looking people walk into town.
