Empowerment Programme

 

We believe that an organisation for young people, like Toonspeak, should involve young people in running it and making decisions.  We have 6 spaces on our Board of Directors for young people (they’re the bosses of the company!).

 

We achieve this through:

 

Young people committees – each term a small group of young people form a committee to manage a project.  This Spring and Summer, we have been working on a new website which should be up and running in September!

 

Theatre trips and themed workshops

 

Masterclasses in both creative and business topics

 

Young people focused board development

 

Toonspeak Academy for those ‘serious’ about their drama!
