Wasted

Our Spring 2010 production - Wasted - saw Toonspeak work in partnership with the North Glasgow Youth Health Service to tackle the challenging subject of hazardous drinking. This innovative peer-education project explored the reality of underage drinking, and played to nearly 600 people at Easterhouse's Platform Theatre, many of whom were school and youth groups from across North Glasgow.  The production incorporated a fantastic animation group, who created a very successful multimedia element for the show.

Following on from the success of Wasted, Toonspeak and YHS developed a DVD and CD-ROM pack which is now available as an educational resource for schools and youth groups.  To find out more and get your hands on a copy, give us a call at Toonspeak or contact the Youth Health Service on 0141 531 8718.
