Perceptions

In 2008, Toonspeak's 14+ group were working on a performance for the NTS Exchange festival in Inverness - a process which included interviewing potential directors, asking them to run short workshops and exploring the theme of  "My Space".  The resulting piece, Perceptions, was premiered at St. Andrew's Byre Theatre alongside Toonspeak's exchange partners Byre Youth Theatre, then taken on to the NTS Exchange festival in Inverness.

But the story didn't stop there...  Perceptions was so well received at the festival that Toonspeak were invited to remount the show for the National Festival of Youth Theatre in Aberdeen!  Click  on the picture below to see a slideshow of photos from throughout the process.  Well done to everyone  for their hard work throughout the project!
