Boiling Point

Following on from the success of Teenage Sexual Health: The Musical!, Toonspeak's Studio Sessions group spent early Summer 2009 working on “Boiling Point” – a dark, harrowing piece of theatre examining the extremes of the past and the problems our society faces in the present.  This piece created a landscape of the future – violent, imposing & brutal, but sadly not altogether alien.

As with all Toonspeak productions, Boiling Point was devised entirely by the young people of North Glasgow . Audiences saw a glimpse into the future in a society that hasn’t learnt the lessons of it’s past.
