Reverse Universe - An Arts Festival For All The Family

Suitable for all ages, but special activities for 3-10 year olds from 1pm-3pm and ages 10+ from 3pm-7pm

Toonspeak would like to invite you to the Reverse Universe a free arts event on Friday 5th August 2011at Maryhill Hub, Wyndford.

There will be a whole host of creative events (both outdoor and indoor) including:

*  Interactive theatre performances

*  Drama and circus workshops

*  An outdoor maze

*  Disnae World

* Playdough modelling

* Alien birthday parties

* Exhibition

* Storytelling

* Toonspeaks weird and wonderful summer show - GobbleDeGook

along with many more fun things............

Reverse Universe was organised by 10 young people aged 16-19 who took part in Toonspeak's Create Yourself placement scheme in Summer 2011. The 5 week scheme allowed young people to try and learn about a whole host of creative skills before putting them into practice by organising their own one day family arts festival.  The young people planned and arranged everything from marketing, set design, costume, festival activities and box office.
