Toonspeak Young People's Theatre

Gone

Tuesday 29th - Thursday 31st March 2011

RSAMD Chandler Studio

A girl goes missing.  A community is under scrutiny.  This is North Glasgow: but a little bit weirder.  Young people from Toonspeak carried out a series of consultations with local people of all ages, finding out what they really thought of living in North Glasgow.  Add a dash of imagination and a Toonspeak flair for the ridiculous, and you get GONE.

The project was supported by Glasgow Housing Association.

“I thought that the cast covered a lot of big serious issues with sensitivity and maturity, with effective use of humour and songs.”
